The Skn Academy

The Skn Academy is an esthetics school and spa located at Antioch Road in Merriam, Kansas, founded by Michelle, an experienced esthetician-turned-educator who previously owned her own esthetics business and worked as an instructor and school director. She built the academy on the vision of "An Academy created BY Estheticians FOR Estheticians," emphasizing mentorship, hands-on learning, and empowering future professionals through quality training that meets state board requirements and prepares graduates for immediate employment. Alongside its day and evening esthetics training programs, the academy operates a public-facing spa where clients can receive treatments performed under supervision, giving the Kansas City metro community access to affordable skin and body services. The spa menu includes customized personalized skin treatments, express facials, acne-focused treatments, brightening and firming facials, chemical peels, and a range of add-ons like radiofrequency, microcurrent, LED, and microdermabrasion, plus waxing, brow and lash services, body wraps and scrubs, and spray tanning. This combination of professional education and real-world client services makes The Skn Academy a distinctive dual-purpose destination in Merriam.
