The Abbey Inn & Spa

Set atop Fort Hill overlooking the Hudson River and the Hudson River Highlands, The Abbey Inn & Spa occupies a lovingly restored convent and chapel that date to the late 19th and early 20th centuries. The property offers thoughtfully designed rooms and suites, a full-service spa, and Apropos, a farm-to-table restaurant rooted in the seasons. Light-filled guest rooms overlook gardens, forests, and river vistas, while the chapel, garden terrace, and historic spaces provide settings for intimate weddings, small retreats, and milestone gatherings. The team approaches hospitality with warmth, discretion, and meticulous attention to detail, inviting visitors to explore the surrounding valley, Fort Hill Park, and the property’s 65-acre landscape at a measured, reflective pace.
