Starkey Medical Esthetics, located in Salem, VA, is led by owner, Master Esthetician, instructor, and Nurse Practitioner Michele Meinhart, FNP. A goal-focused entrepreneur, Michele graduated from The University of Virginia in 1984 with a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology. After raising a family, she earned her Master's in Nursing from Rutgers University in 1997. Following several years of practice as a Nurse Practitioner, she opened the first Starkey Medical office in 2003.

Since its inception, Michele has expanded her business, which features a highly skilled team of licensed professionals offering aesthetics and dermatology services. Alongside overseeing the Starkey Medical School of Esthetics, she has created her own skincare line, stayed active in local organizations, and raised chickens. Striving for excellence in her field, Michele sincerely enjoys inspiring others to meet their personal goals.
