Elyse S. Rafal, M.D., FAAD, serves as president and medical director of Rafal Center for Dermatology & Cosmetic Surgery. The practice is dedicated to providing patients with exceptional, personalized health care for disorders of the skin, hair and nails, emphasizing prevention and treatment across cosmetic and medical dermatology. By creating ongoing personal relationships, Dr. Rafal and the team deliver lifelong dermatologic service while utilizing the latest advances in medical and aesthetic dermatology and state‑of‑the‑art techniques. Dr. Rafal leads the DermResearchCenter of New York, performs clinical research with industry partners, has more than 100 publications, and has conducted over 100 grant‑funded research projects spanning more than three decades. Dr. Rafal also has her own innovative skincare line, and the practice maintains an office on Nesconset Highway.
