Park Avenue Dermatology

Founded by Dr. George Schmieder, Park Avenue Dermatology operates four locations, including a Fleming Island office and a Jacksonville practice at the UF North Health Building. The practice was established to provide quality healthcare to Jacksonville-area residents for the treatment of a broad range of skin conditions.

Led by Dr. Schmieder, a board-certified dermatologist and Mohs surgeon, the clinic’s staff of doctors, physician assistants, clinicians and aestheticians delivers care for patients of all ages and skin types while supporting clinical research programs to explore new techniques and pharmaceuticals. The practice emphasizes patient education, encourages regular self-examinations and sensible sun-protection habits, and follows high medical and ethical standards in serving the local community.
