Founded in 2007, Newport Medical and Wellness Center was established by John and Rachna LaLonde with a vision of an integrated medical and wellness center where patients could be comfortably treated for medical problems, prevent future issues, maintain a healthy lifestyle, and improve physical appearance. The practice brings together family practice physicians and physician assistants, physical therapists, a psychologist, registered nurses, and experienced medical spa practitioners, supported by an onsite Wellness by Design physical therapy gym. Dr. John LaLonde’s patient satisfaction ratings are consistently 95% or higher; the family practice serves more than 4,000 patients and accepts new patients with most insurance carriers. Located on Newport Boulevard, the clinic emphasizes prevention, rehabilitation and aesthetic medicine while maintaining a patient portal, monthly specials and class calendar.
