Located on West Lake Street in Uptown Minneapolis, #FACE Facial Bar & Lounge is a Black woman-owned luxury day spa built on beauty, confidence, virtue, and resilience. Founded by licensed AP Esthetician Matisse Lela Johnson after her solo practice grew into a storefront, the practice blends professional skincare expertise with a warm, welcoming atmosphere so every visit feels personal and restorative. The team emphasizes intentional, personalized care and takes time to understand individual skin goals while creating an elevated, comforting lounge experience. After a 2024 fire and a temporary closure, the clinic reopened with a refreshed space and renewed commitment to inclusivity, community, and long-term skin health for its Uptown clientele.
