Dermatology & Laser of Alabama

Founded in 2007, Dermatology & Laser of Alabama has been serving the Birmingham area for over a decade, operating from Office Park Drive. The practice provides both cosmetic and medical dermatology services and hosts seasonal events and specials.

Founder Sarah Boyce Sawyer, MD, is a fellowship-trained, board-certified dermatologist who pursued additional training in cosmetic dermatology, laser surgery, and skin cancer therapy. A team of trained professionals and licensed aestheticians supports individualized care and patient education.

The practice hosts a signature Fall Open House each August, featuring a full week of specials and events, and positions itself as a reliable resource for skincare information. Leadership and providers also contribute time and support to local nonprofits.
