Located on East‑West Highway in Bethesda, Defy Aesthetic is a woman‑owned, Bethesda‑based med spa and cosmetic boutique focused on achieving best skin. The practice emphasizes a personalized, fun approach to skincare, enhancing already beautiful features and tailoring each experience to leave skin glowing without the feel of a doctor's office.

The team is led by nurse practitioner and owner Katharine Kuhnsman and includes nurse practitioners Jenny Kehoe, Renee Maloney, and Mary Claire Sheridan alongside aestheticians Margaret Tatusko, Maggie Greenberg, and Jennifer Garcia.
