Founded in 2021 by Zona in Trumbull, Bare Skin & Wax began as a solo studio during the post‑COVID period and evolved into a physician‑led med spa and waxing studio on Main Street.

Born from two sisters with different paths, the practice pairs Zona’s mastery of brow shaping and body waxing with Rilinda’s more than 20 years as a Registered Nurse—experience spanning emergency medicine, critical care, and healthcare leadership—to introduce a science‑driven, safety‑first approach to medical aesthetics. Medical Director Seth Clohosey, MD, a board‑certified Internal Medicine physician with advanced training in aesthetic injectables, provides clinical oversight. The practice emphasizes personalized consultations, artistry, precision, and long‑term skin health while serving Fairfield County and visitors from Connecticut and New York.
