Athena Spa at Ayres Hotel & Spa Mission Viejo

Athena Spa operates inside the Ayres Hotel & Spa in Mission Viejo, California, near the border of Rancho Santa Margarita just off the 241 toll road in Orange County. Though housed within a larger hotel property, Athena Spa describes itself as a small business operating within the hotel, focused on nurturing guests' mind, body, and soul through relaxation and rejuvenation. The spa distinguishes itself through full-length treatment sessions, a candlelit atmosphere, and comfort-oriented amenities such as table warmers and specialty cushions, including equipment designed for pregnant guests. Its five treatment rooms offer massage therapy — including Swedish, Signature, deep tissue, and prenatal styles — alongside facials and body treatments such as scrubs and wraps, with aromatherapy and hot stone add-ons available across most services. The spa also hosts side-by-side couples massages and group spa parties that include food and drinks. Guests booking spa services gain access to the hotel's pool and Jacuzzi, and the spa operates seven days a week with flexible scheduling for both hotel guests and outside visitors to the Mission Viejo area.
