aSPArations Salon and Day Spa

A Green Circle Salon that recycles up to 95% of salon waste, aSPArations Salon and Day Spa foregrounds sustainability. Founders Tasha Schnathorst (Level 6 Esthetician, Massage Therapist, Spray Tan Artist & Sugarista) and Terry Schnathorst (Spray Tan Artist & Educator) lead a team of service professionals. With guest support, the practice has donated over $40,000 to recycling and repurposing initiatives and applies a $2 Eco Fee per service ticket to fund the program. aSPArations underwrote Vanessa McNeal’s documentary Gridshock, operates the Barbara Burt Beauty Scholarship—awarding $1,000 annually to local cosmetology, barbering, esthetics, massage and nail students (deadline April 20)—and has raised over $2,000 for Wounded Warrior Project through Beards & Brews nights offering free haircuts and beard trims to active and veteran military.
