Academy of Esthetics and Cosmetology

The Academy of Esthetics and Cosmetology is a private cosmetology and esthetics school located at 1116 San Fernando Road in San Fernando, California, serving students throughout the San Fernando Valley, including Pacoima, Mission Hills, North Hills, and Sylmar. Approved by California's Bureau for Private Postsecondary Education and accredited by the National Accrediting Commission of Career Arts and Sciences, the academy trains future estheticians, barbers, cosmetologists, and manicurists in a hands-on learning environment designed to mirror real salon conditions. Instruction is led by staff with real-world industry experience, and the program combines classroom coursework with supervised clinic work to prepare students for California state licensing exams. Beyond training, the academy operates a public-facing student salon offering discounted beauty services performed under supervision, giving the San Fernando community access to affordable facials, waxing, hair, and nail services while students complete their required hours toward licensure. The school also provides career support, including resume help and interview preparation.
