Dr. Sawyer brings an extensive background to the medical spa, having graduated from Hampton University in 1987, served for 20 years as a U.S. Army commissioned officer, and earned a dual Master's degree in Business and Human Resources from Webster University. He graduated from medical school at the University of Texas in 2001 and specialized in emergency medicine at New York Medical College and Harlem Hospital. After launching Shadow Medical Group as a telemedicine and concierge service in 2014, Dr. Sawyer transitioned the practice to focus on aesthetics and body sculpting, alongside his ongoing work as an independent emergency medicine physician in Georgia and Florida. Shadow Body Sculpting and Aesthetics provides individualized physician consultations and flexible financing options for a wide array of services, including body sculpting, medical weight loss, skincare, vitamin hydration and oxygen therapy, strength training and body scans, lipotropic and NAD therapy, and urgent care services.
