Professional Skin Care Academy, located in Waxahachie, Texas, is a specialized institution dedicated to training aspiring estheticians. Founded on over 30 years of industry experience shaped by prominent institutions like Ogle, Paul Mitchell, and Aveda, the academy was built to address student needs and elevate educational standards. The academy offers a comprehensive 750-hour esthetician program approved by the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation (TDLR), with classes beginning each February and August. To ensure individualized attention, mentorship, and focused skill development, class sizes are strictly limited to 12 students. The curriculum covers skincare fundamentals, client care and professionalism, business and marketing basics, and rigorous state board preparation, equipping students with essential skills such as facials, microdermabrasion, and back treatments. Students also gain valuable real-world experience through the academy’s on-site spa services, allowing them to build practical technical skills and a professional portfolio. In as little as six months, graduates complete their training fully prepared to take the State Licensing Exam and launch exciting careers as licensed estheticians.
