Dr. Zaldivar’s elite training includes an ophthalmology residency at the Mayo Clinic, a fellowship in ophthalmic pathology at Emory University, and two years of specialized oculofacial plastic and reconstructive surgery training at the Mayo Clinic and the University of Minnesota. He has also served as a clinical assistant professor at the University of North Carolina and cared for veterans at the Fayetteville Veterans Clinic for 15 years.
