Founded in 1997 by Dr. Todd Williams, Asheboro Dermatology & Skin Surgery Center has quickly grown to serve patients throughout Randolph County and adjacent communities. The practice specializes in both general and surgical dermatology, encompassing Mohs surgery, excision, and EDC for the diagnosis and treatment of skin cancer. The experienced medical team manages a wide range of common skin conditions, including acne, eczema, psoriasis, rosacea, and warts, alongside rare skin diseases. The center provides expert care utilizing systemic therapies such as Accutane (Isotretinoin) for acne, as well as biologic agents for psoriasis and atopic dermatitis. As the practice expanded in the late 90s, Dr. Williams was joined by Dr. Steve Kimmel, bringing skilled general and surgical dermatological care for patients of all ages. To further support the growing patient population across Asheboro, Archdale, Ramseur, Randleman, Seagrove, and surrounding areas, the team welcomed adult nurse practitioner Gay Markham and certified physician assistant Donna Jennings, who is bilingual and serves the local Hispanic community. All providers at Asheboro Dermatology & Skin Surgery Center remain dedicated to delivering expert skin cancer treatment and comprehensive general dermatology care.
